How to pay rent or bond?

Once your application is approved, you will need to pay two weeks rent in advance plus full bond payment equal to four weeks rent, totaling six weeks rent. The rent payment will be applied to the period from the commencement of the tenancy.

Payment methods  

There are three options for making payments such as rent:

  1. payment via the Rental Rewards website.
  2. direct deposit at any Suncorp bank, or
  3. Internet bank transfer.

Our preferred method for rent payment is the Rental Rewards website. Some of the many benefits for you are:

  • Track all your rent payments made via Rental Rewards site
  • A unique bank reference and your phone number are recorded against each payment, so your payments cannot be lost
  • Payments can be paid via bank account or through your credit card,
  • Easy payment methods such as ‘Set & Forget’ automatic debit can be set up,
  • Receive an SMS/Email “Rent Reminder” every time your rent is due. Just reply “YES” and your rent is paid automatically, and
  • Earn reward points if paying by credit card.

If you would like to deposit your rent directly at a Suncorp bank, fill in a deposit form and deposit the cash. The Trust Account details will be provided to you at the start of your tenancy. (Always keep your deposit receipt on the left hand side of the deposit form as proof of payment.)

If you would like to make payment using Internet banking, then Trust Account details will be provided to you at the start of your tenancy.

Referencing your payments  

Please include a reference with your apartment number, your surname and the purpose of the payment (eg “rent” or “bond”) when you make a payment.

(Suncorp Bank allows up to 21 characters in references.)
